The drama program of Calvary Baptist School is designed to encourage students to develop the ability to present various dramatic pieces with confidence and skill.  Our goal is to help develop the God-given talents in each student, not for personal acclaim but to glorify God.  Our purpose is not to produce future professional actors, but to help students gain the confidence to share the Gospel and bring glory to their Savior with public speaking and dramatic presentations.  Students in the drama program will participate in an end-of-the-year play as well as performing in various venues such as chapel and school programs.  Plays that have been performed in recent years include Meet Me in St. Louis; The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; Cheaper by the Dozen; Cinderella; and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  All students in the drama class will participate in the play.
